http://uberguy.tribes2.org/ FreeHUDS - It creates independant HUDs for the Compass (with integrated radar warning and clock), the health bar, the energy / heat bar, and new, in version 1.1, independant clock and radar warning HUDs. All are hudmover compatible. UberZoom - A common script theme revolves around the idea of nifty automation around the Tribes 2 zoom functions. Different people like different things. I only know of one script out there that does more than a couple of things, and using several of them doesn't usually work well. UberZoom is my shot at pretty much doing it all! UberChat - This little script gives you all sorts of customization control over your in-game chat HUD TapWeapon - When enabled, this script replaces the function of the six "slots" you can bind in T2. Before you can use it, you need to go to the weapon selection screen and select up to two weapons for each slot. UberKit - This script gives players some handy popup alerts relating to finding and using repair kits, and allows important battlefield-scavenged repair kits to be used automatically. Reticle Compass - This script adds a compass ring - without all the ugly blue doodads - to your aiming reticle. Never have to look away to see what direction you're facing again! SpawnWeapon - Do you find you don't want to drop your blaster but you hate spawning with it drawn? Are you a T1 veteran who cant get used to the fact you don't spawn with your disclauncher out (and it doesn't help that you spawn invisible...)? Do you exclusively play the Ultra Heinous MOD and really want to have your Atomic Decapitator out when you respawn? UberWheel - This T2 script will allow you to control how your mouse wheel operates. FreeLook - This T2 script gives you a bind for a single key/button you can press and hold to enter 3rd-person and freelook - simultaneously. As long as you hold it down, you will stay freelooking - to stop, just let go. In case you don't want to toggle it accidentally (I have mine on a mouse button). Screenshot - Tribes 1 had a much more sensable scheme. This script gives T2 the same behavior. With it, a folder "Tribes2/GameData/base/screenshots" is created, and screenshots are put in there. They are named sshotXXXX.png, just like they were in T1, where XXXX is an ever increasing number. CleanDSO's - hate *.dso files. They clutter. They interfere with script installs. They suck! Nevermore. Now all your dso's are toast thanks to this handy little script. Just toss this script in place and it takes care of it all for you. The dso files are deleted just before you exit T2. They come back each time you play, of course, but you'll be guaranteed to never have old ones laying around again. DebriefTeamChat.cs - I've always hated the fact that you can't use team chat during the post-map score screen (the "Debrief GUI"). I always used this in T1 to say things like "good job whooping the other team's ass." Not something a polite player says in global chat. This script fixes this oversight and allows you to teamchat on the Debrief GUI. PersistChat.cs - This script restores a behavior of the chat box that I always missed from T1. When you escape from typing on a chat line, T2 normally blanks the line so you lose what you were typing. This script makes it so the chat box remembers what you were typing. The text you escaped away from will be there when you next hit the chat key. QuietCmdMap.cs - This tiny little utility, barely worth calling a script, is something I whipped up for a good friend who always hated the T2 command map toggle noises. It mutes them. It really mutes them - the game is incapable of playing them at all with this installed, so if something else you have makes use of them, that won't make sound either. I've never seen anything use these sounds for anything else, however. UberMute - Do you hate chat spammers? After a match or map it's usually impossible to say or read anything useful because everyone is saying "Wahooo!" 5 times apiece. UberMute is a script to stop this chat spam from inducing muderous rage, but not lose useful information in the process. UberFoV is a nifty new Field of View management script. It has huds, GUIs and can support an unlimited number of FoVs, but is lightweight and can be made totally unobtrusive if you'd prefer. UberFaves is an expansion of the T2 favorites system. Among its features: 10 additional favorites (30 total), to manage your faves in groups of 10, the options to hear the script announce your armor, pack, and grenade type out loud, and a fix for the silly problem where you couldn't quick buy a grenady type and a pack at the same time. Enjoy!
