Idk? Voicepack 2 Readme Downloading : there are 6 files mainly for my ease of editing and for giving more options as to what you want to hear. VP2quickmenu - core program (YOU NEED THIS) VP2idkthemes - idk player themes (optional) (PLEASE NOTE: not all players have a theme atm) VP2spam - all that movie quote spam crap (gooooaaallll etc..) (optional) VP2idkradio - the "in car" entertainment (optional) VP2clanthemes - Various clan themes from the ladder adding to as they are sent (optional) Whats in it :- - A completely user configurable voice menu using quickmenu(props to LouCypher, Dia-Menz, Nextwish) allows the binding of any sample to any text to either team or global, you can even bind console commands eg.. setfov(120); or clientCmdStartBomberSight(); - Added teamplay binds, all the old ones plus a few new ones (need RIS deployed, destroy mpb etc..) - Added functionality to allow plug-in's of themes and samples in mp3 or wav format. - In "car" entertainment, allows an mp3 to be played when you enter a vehicle (diff sample for each vehicle) - In game filter control - In game volume control gui (props to kaiten) Installation: (yes you need support.vl2) :- If you use ESNVOL delete it as my script includes a version of it. Also remove quickmenu by loucypher if you use it as i use it in this script. Also mp3 player scripts will cause problems. Put vl2 files in base dir and extract .zip ones to base. Use :- On starting t2 click launch and you have a new item "quickmenu" click this and it takes you to the menu editing gui where you can customise binds, text, and samples played. to add a bind right click on the top branch of where you want addition to be made and select "new command". Goto controls and bind a key to "quickmenu" i use V as old menu is useless now Play a game and spam away if you press V (or whatever key you bound) then O you get some options to alter filter, volume and other stuff. Filter :- none = no filter everything gets played full spammomatic part = mp3's and teamplay additions get played but no spam full = you hear no spam, no mp3 only teamplay stuff (note that in filter mode you won't see text associated with wav/mp3s either) setting saved when you exit tribes. volume :- Brings a gui up made by kaiten to adjust in game volumes. Settigs will be saved. Other info :- - This version of quickmenu allows for binds to work during map change. - I have added code in for a in car randomiser mp3 player, how this works atm is it will play the default theme for the vehicle, but when you select the randomise (under V-Y-R) option it will select a random mp3 from the dir base/music/radio/random/ (go ahead and make this dir and put in some of yor own mp3's into it to test it out) you will need to choose a different "station" (eg. idk) to set it back. This setting is saved when you exit tribes so if you leave it on randomise everytime you board a vehicle a random track from the afformentioned directory will be played. Also when in vehicle you will hear no other theme's being played unless you turn radio "off" in radio options (under V-Y-R). - To create your own "radio channels" add a dir under base/music/radio/ eg. SOO and then in this new SOO dir put your songs you want to be played in each of the vehicles :- bike.mp3 = gravbike bomber.mp3 = bomber hapc.mp3 = havoc mpb.mp3 = mpb shrike.mp3 = shrike tank.mp3 = tank Please note: The naming of these is important now edit quickmenu in game and browse till you find the radio menu (V-Y-R) and add a command :- Sound - none Scope - command key - (whatever you want it bound to) menu text - (whatever you want the menu to display eg. Station SOO) command or text - idkvpradiotuner(SOO); - note the SOO is the dir you stored your new themes in. When this is finished maybe you could zip this dir up and host it somewhere for others to download and use. - To add your own personal themes i recommend looking into how the idk one has been made (for directory structure and syntax) i will be putting together a detailed document for doing this soon. - I have shipped the pack with the default menu as T2 ships so if anybody feels good enough to convert it to crunchy's newchat version (T1 like) then feel free to do so and leave a link for others to get from. - I have also included the binds as if you downloaded everything available so if you didnt want to be able to trigger some samples feel free to delete them using in game quickmenu screen (don't forget to save changes) Known Bug :- Occasionally a mp3 will loop. I, and all my closed beta testers have been unable to reproduce this on a regular basis if anyone manages to please let me know so i can squish it. You can just choose "stop current track" bind to fix this atm (V-O-5). Props :- LouCypher, Dia-Menz, Nextwish, Kaiten and Homes for their code and ideas and all my closed beta testers for feedback and ideas who shall remain nameless so as not to get them in trouble with friends who they didn't pass to :) Contact :- Feel free to contact me on qnet irc in #idk or #t2scripting or mail ego@idk.org.uk ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Changes :- Fixed bug where chat would display twice. Fixed bugs with incompatabilities with other chat related scripts. Re-coded so propack users no longer need to use my version of propack. Implemented Lou-cypher's new version of quickmenu which now has :- Hud mover support Ability to bind animations Incorporate enhanced voice options from pLab's FluxVoice for the selection of any voice with any Race/Gender (including Bot) and variable pitch control. Fixed a bug with sending messages that kept jsut's TeamTimer from working. Now you can choose scope "Team Message" and send the message "!start 30" and jsut's TeamTimer will work.
